“I’m running for the New Mexico State Senate because I'll stand up to the big insurance companies in order to make health care more affordable and to protect those with pre-existing conditions.
We need bold leadership to put New Mexicans back to work by supporting our small businesses, provide job training & job development, and diversify our economy."
- Katy Duhigg
Katy Duhigg is running for the State Senate because she isn't afraid to stand up to the big insurance companies that have stacked the deck against regular people. She'll fight to lower prescription costs, protect those with pre-existing conditions, and work tirelessly to ensure more New Mexicans receive access to health care.
Katy Duhigg is a small business owner and knows how the pandemic has crippled the economy. She'll be one of the Senate's biggest champions of New Mexico's small businesses. She knows that we must invest in job development and training. And, she knows that we must diversity our economy and make NM a leader in renewable energy.
Katy Duhigg has dedicated her career to being a good government expert, leading the charge to make government more transparent and ethical. She's been an election protection attorney, Albuquerque City Clerk, and she protects consumers from unethical businesses. As our state senator, Katy will hit the ground running - holding state government accountable.
